Award follows recent prize for mobile trainings
Stuttgart, Feb 29, 2012 – Advertising agency hydra newmedia has won the iF communication design award 2012. The jury awarded the prestigious design prize to the Xperia™ PLAY product training that hydra developed for Sony Ericsson. This latest honour comes just a few weeks after hydra won the Annual Multimedia Award 2012 for the Xperia™ mini mobile training.
Xperia™ PLAY is the first PlayStation™-certified smartphone: a fully fledged Android™ smartphone equipped with proper gaming controllers. The interactive – and now awardwinning – product training explains the varied functions of the mobile phone to retailers. They learn all about the benefits the new product has to offer in an entertaining way and are optimally prepared for the sales pitch. The interactive Flash application is available for retailers on Sony Ericsson’s central retailer portal insider, which is available in 30 languages and used by retailers all over the world.
With the introduction of mobile product trainings the insider platform became an even more powerful tool. Trainings previously available only online become more accessible with the new mobile versions and can now be viewed on-the-go and offline. With the Annual Multimedia Award 2012 the first mobile product training created for Sony Ericsson was awarded with the Silver award.
